The update situation on my mum is that she has been transferred to the Hallamshire Hospital where they will doing further tests. Will know more information tomorrow morning when I call my sister. My sister forgot to tell me that last week my dad decided to take himself to meadowhall without telling anyone. My mum got back from the hairdressers and found he was not home and just thought he was down at the shops at Firthpark. He had been gone 3 hours when my mum started to panic and was just about to call my sister when she saw him walking up the road. Dad had blood on his face and dressings. He explained to my mum that he was walking towards the bus/train station and tripped into the doors leading out smashed his face against the glass which shattered. He received emergency treatment and refused a lift home and got the bus instead. You can imagine what trouble he was in with my mum and sister. I have yet to speak to him about it.
Today was my day off had my PT lesson with my trainer Cathy who I really like at 7am . Myself, Tasha and Chris then when for afternoon tea with my friend Annette to meet her daughter and son in-law from Adalaide. Tasha and Chris have friends in Adalaide to visit when they go on their travels now. Annette has work for them both around the house so they are getting some cash in hand and Annette will pass the word around to everyone her friends.
Just made everyone a mixed been tortilla. Sam will be home soon, he is training his boys in Brisbane.
I'm off to bed early we have a meeting at work in the morning, role plays, yahoo stuff...does my head in.

I have not blogged since last weekend as I have been too busy. Natasha and Chris should start to hear from some of the strawberry farms in the next couple of weeks. Both of them are itching to get out and work to earn some money. They are in Brisbane for the weekend. They have a friend Stephen who is travelling through Australia so decided to hit the town, all 3 are sharing a room in a hostel. Sam is working hard setting up camps for next month. Wolves are still doing well however, we have some injuries and red cards so he will have to make some changes next week. We play East again at our home ground as last week was a catch up game due to bad weather at the beginning of the season. Sam said they played terrible the first half of the East game, Kado missed 3 easy sitters but the second half of the game they dominated them and should have got more goals. Round 2 starts now and they have to play all the teams again, hope we can do the same again and win all our games...BIG ASK! He relaxed when he got home last night as I had made him a lamb curry to go down with a lovely glass of wine.
I went to Brisbane on Thursday to a place called Paddington. A cool place to shop. I did really well till I got to the last shop where there was a pair of wedge sandals calling my name. They cost $56 which was a bargain as I had been looking on line and they cost double the money I paid, so saved Sam some money.
My sister contacted me last night to inform me my mum was in hospital. My mum has been having urine infections every month for 7 months. I told her this was not normal but the GP kept prescribing antibiotics till they did not work and sent her for further tests. They found a high level of protein in her urine so phoned her 9pm Thursday evening to go straight to NG for admission. She had further tests and they found that she has a blockage near her left kidney. She now has to wait to be moved to the Hallamshire so they can have a specialist look and decide what action to take. I hope all this gets sorted out quickly.
I could not believe the news about Pat, so sad. I enjoyed visiting Pat and Val, she always gave me a tour of the garden showing me her beautiful plants and veggies they grew. Also Pat was so kind in helping me with a Jamaican lady who we admitted in to Norbury. This lady was very confused, would not eat and very depressed. I asked Pat if we provided the food would she cook Caribbean food for the lady as she was not eating. Pat agreed and made some wonderful meals. She made a very confused lady very happy.
I'm off today so will spend the only day I have with Sam. Will take him out for brekky.

Busy Weekend
Had a good weekend. Sam's team won against Mount Gravatt 9-1. So far his team has won every game since the start of the season. We play Rochdale on Saturday at their home ground. We really want to win against Rochadale as they think they are the superstars of the league.
Myself, Tasha and Chris did not go to the MG game because we attended a Abba Nite at the club. We had a buffet dinner and then the act was on. It was a really good and fun night. Tasha has posted pics on f/b I will get her to post some on my next blog so that S&G can see them. Sam joined us later after his game.
Sunday I made roast dinner and Tasha made some delicous brownies. After dinner I was not too well so went to bed for a nap in the afternoon . I have a cold/allergy, not sure will look in to buying a nasal spray today to see if that helps.
Natasha had a driving lesson yesterday. It went ok but she said some rules are different and she has to stop at every roundabout even though she knows she can get round safely. So slow and frustrating was her exact words. Tasha and Chris are going to Brisbane today to post some leaflets for Sam advertising his camps. They are keeping busy till strawberry picking is ready to start. They both receieved a cheque yesterday for the work they did last week in Brisbane.
I was up at 5am and did my class of weights, step and balance. I prefer morning class its out of the way for the rest of the day. I'm working 10-3 today. We have another VIP and sale day Saturday so lots of prep work to be done today. Also looking to book my free one hour massage I won for my fitness challenge for Thursday on my day off...looking forward to that.

After 2 busy days at work it has been terribly quiet today, I was bored out of my mind. When I got home Tasha and Chris had made home made pizzas which were delish.
Whilst eating pizza I filled them in on my day. I had left a note that morning leaving tasks for Sam to do i.e. vacuum, empty dish washer, prepare tea. I asked if he had fullfilled the tasks that I had left for him and he said he had. I found out later from Tasha that Sam said he had a bad back and was telling them what to do whilst sat on the sofa.
We are now getting ready to watch only fools and horses. Off to bed after that then up for work....hopefully to wake up and be millionaire Rodders!! Just laughing, granded is trying to watch the Jukes of Hazzards... its the microwave..Hillarious.
As Del Boy would say ...think before you blink lol x Good nite xx

Aussie living
Sam's team won 5-2 last night against Capalaba in the 2nd round of the cup which made us all happy.
Natasha and Chris have been contacting people to find work on the farms. They came down to the silly sale at work today and got in line to buy some beads for a $1. Whilst in the line they got talking to people and got loads of contacts for work on the farms. One of my customers has given them numbers and he said he would meet them to show them where the farms are. So that was a good day. Tasha made a quorn and vegetable pie for tea which was delish. I had a little bit of it with my Tofu which I am addicted to at the moment, hot or cold. Its nice to come home from work and have my meals cooked for me. Tasha is making me coffee now.
Work has been busy all day. I was there at 8-30 and finished at 7pm. I'm back on tomorrow at 9 till 5-30 so hopefully we will continue to be busy as I have a $12,000 target to reach.
Sam had a batch of chocolate delivered yesterday from England. Tasha could not fit it in her case so told Liam to post it. Sam has hidden the chocolate so we are on a mission to find it....wish us luck.
Shiela, or you still a vegetarian?

Blog from Down Under!
Well, I have decided to blog again. I always write on f/b but I know that S & G don't f/b.
Natasha and Chris arrived safely and have not stopped running around since they got here. After only landing for a couple of days they did some work completing registration forms for company corporate games. They have been helping Sam at the club and will be posting registration forms at schools around Brisbane for Sam's future camps... it was Natasha's idea to generate more business for him.
They have opened a bank account and started to look for work on the farms doing strawberry picking/packing. The house is noisy again with lots of activity and discussions/rows about everything but we could not be happier.
Liam will be meeting up with the guy in July to discuss sponsership to get out here so fingers crossed. That would be the icing on the cake to have the both them out here with us.
Sam has been so busy with football, camps, meetings ect. I worry he takes too much on but this is the busiest time of the year for him so I have to accept it. His team is doing well as you all know, I don't know how long they can keep it up. There is a good atmosphere at the club and the A-league clubs are coming to watch the games so hopefully the boys can play at the level they deserve to play. We are in round 2 of the cup game so have a game against Capalaba on Wednesday then play Mount Gravatt on Saturday.
We are all going to ABBA nite at the club on Saturday nite, Sam will be joining us later. So we are shopping for cheap outfits today as it is too expensive to hire them we will take pictures and post. I broke my camera when we visited England so hopefully will get a new one soon, will look in the sales.
I am working long hours the rest of this we as we have our VIP and Sales so may not blog again for a few days.
PS. I had a chuckle to myself the other morning. Sam had his usual toast and jam for breakfast so he thought....it was cranberry jelly!! when I told him he said he thougt it tasted different. Now thats is what I call a man look!! Oh, also I won my prizes at the gym and at the game on Saturday won a large meat tray. I'm goin to have a go on the lotto today.

Spring
The weather is turning and spring is on its way. On Thursday it has predicted it will be 26, perfect, no humidity and lovely blue skies.
Sam has been in Charleville since Monday and will be home tonight. He has been representing football and coaching the kids out in the bush amongst the kangaroos and other wild life. Will know about it more when he gets home it has been difficult to get a signal to contact me and we he reaches me we can hardly hear each other.
Charlie and Joby stayed with me on Monday night so that I was not on my own but had to go back to Brisbane Tuesday due to Joby having football training. So I did not sleep too well last night so got up early to my blog and prepare my meals for today.
I have been working out a lot at the gym and my PT is pleased with my progress. Rob is also a physio and shown me what exercises to do for my arm and shoulder which has been brill as I get no pain now and I able to a lot more exercise to increase strength in my arms. I have started to play tennis and meet up with some of the ladies at the club which has been great fun!! When Sam finishes football I am having lessons for golf and will go and practice with Sam before joining the ladies on a Tuesday. I have been working extra hours due to staff being on holiday so fitting everything in has been hard work.
We are excited about going home and seeing family. I have started to put some clothes aside to pack. It's weird as it is coming into spring and I am going home to winter....just have to grin and bear it!! I'm going to miss going to F and MS but hopefully they are joining us in February. Sam phoned me at work to let me know they were going to visit us again I started to scream and could not stop smiling all day. We should be in another home by then also. I bought a raffle ticket yesterday for a home around the corner which is being drawn next week...Hope we have some luck and win!! Starting to look at homes around the golf club we are definitely getting a home with a pool!
I'm doing the fashion show again for the summer collection. Paula and Paula are organizing it for when I get back from England.
We play Mount Gravatt on Saturday. If we win our next 3 games we will end up being in 2nd position, which means then we go into play offs, hope we have the same luck as we won the championships last year.
Must go, off to work then the gym tonight.
