Where does the time go? I finished work on Saturday and came straight home do start pre-paring some Indian food ready for Sunday. My friend Charlie is helping me she is staying with her boyfriend Joby (who plays football for Sam)till Tuesday cos' I'm back at work on Wednesday. When Charlie arrived I had made two curries, chicken tikka marsala and Lamb and sweet potato. So we went to the golf club for a drink and brought home a pizza. We phoned Sam for the football results and they had won 2-0.

Sunday morning me and Charlie was up early to cook moroccan bread, rice, vegetable bargis and poppadoms. I had Kylie and Paul coming up and my boss Adi and her boyfriend. Charlie help me cook and prepare the table. We had a brilliant night. We all got up early had breakfast and everyone left to do their own thing.

I took Charlie around the Island. The weather all week has been 25/27 and no humidity.

Charlie helps out at a clothing boutique in Brisbane. I have bought stuff from their already (surprise, surprise!). Charlie is fun to be with and good with fashion. She is absolutely beautiful and where we go people just stare at her (she is 22) but very mature for her age. Anyway the woman at the store has asked if we can work at the shop on Sat. Sept. 5th cos' she has a wedding to go to. It happens to be my weekend off. We are baking mini choc muffins to give to customers. We are going to take photos of ourselves and customers in the clothes to make a collage of the so people can see what is on sale. We are both wearing outfits that we have bought from the store (will send you pics). Looking really forward to it. If I lived in Brisbane I would be working there as C leaves in 5 weeks. I will really miss her.

Today we went shopping and Charlie left for Brisbane at 4-30. She bought me a knife set for having them stay. I will not see her till next Saturday due to work.

Sam is playing tonight in the cup game so will blog the result once I get them.

We we went to Toowoomba last week to sort papers out for our new car will be picking it up on Sat. 29th August.

Spoke to the kids everyone is well.

Sonia, your poor mouth, it will be worth the pain in the long run. I can't believe how much weight you have lost, you look good, keep it up.

Dear brother-in-law, it must be sad being a grub? seeing other people be happy wearing bright and colorful clothes/bags. I know you pretend to be happy wearing your 1970's clothes, it's a cry for help you just don't know it! you know my number I can help you lol.

I'm going to watch my soaps now.

Sandra you must stop picking on the boy,he has enough on his plate with his dieting and cycling,(get it? on his plate!!)Charlie is a funny name for a "Sheila"mate,as you know I am the very epitomy of sartorial splendour,so no need for advice in that respect.
